Tryweryn Trail

Map of the Tryweryn Trail at Canolfan Tryweryn, the National White Water Centre.

We’re rightly proud of our Tryweryn Trail, so if being wet doesn’t float your boat why not take a stroll along our riverside walk. Here in the Celtic Rainforest, mossy oak, delicate willow, polypody ferns (admit it, now you’re curious) await your exploration.

You may even decide to stop for a picnic at one of our many picnic sites dotted around the Centre. Most of the picnic areas are situated on the river bank so you can watch all the fun of the river while enjoying your butties!

There is a free copy of the Tryweryn Trail map available at reception. If you are taking young children on the trail you may wish to borrow a buoyancy aid as the trail follows the river. You can get these from reception for a returnable deposit.

We also have adventure backpacks that you are welcome to borrow for little explorers keen for woodland discovery. Packed with nature tools and fun challenges like bug hunts, leaf rubbings & scavenger hunts. Borrow from reception – perfect while others hit the rapids!
