WRT-Pro
This 3-day course is designed for professional river users with existing white water experience. The aim of the Rescue 3 Europe Whitewater Rescue Technician - Professional (WRT-PRO) is to equip students with the skills they need to perform rescues in white water situations at a professional level. This course exceeds the content of the basic Paddle UK White Water Safety course. Tried the Paddle UK courses? Extend your knowledge with the globally-recognised professional standard in water safety.

Min age: 18 years old
Duration: 3 days
Prerequisites: Confident swimmer with experience of water-based activities (eg rafting, canoeing, kayaking etc).
WRT Advanced
This 4 day course is the next step from the Whitewater Rescue Technician - Professional course. It will develop your skills further and is designed for outdoor professionals working in challenging environments. The main focus is on solutions to rescue scenarios, high angle access and egress, incident management and effective use of safety equipment.
Price: £450 per person
Minimum age: 18 years old.
Duration: 4 days
Prerequisites: Rescue 3 WRT-Pro
WRT-Rec
The Rescue 3 Whitewater Rescue Technician – Recreational course (WRT-Rec) is designed for recreational paddlers with existing river experience, to provide you with the necessary skills to perform rescues in whitewater river situations. This course is a recognised alternative to the BCAB White Water Safety (WWS).
Minimum age: 18
Duration: 2 days
Prerequisites: confident swimmer with experience of water-based activities (eg kayaker, canoeist).
WRT Instructor
This 8 day course is for river professionals and outdoor instructors. It is designed for teaching white water rescue techniques. The initial 5 training days are followed by 3 assessment days.
The cost is for all 8 days.
Price: £1,200
Minimum age: 18
Duration: 8 days in total (5 days training, 3 days assessment)
Prerequisites: WRT Pro, WRTA & First Aid qualification for the environment you will be working in.
