That's why we're absolutely delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs here at Canolfan Tryweryn, the National White Water Centre! Located just a stone's throw from the charming town of Bala, in the heart of picturesque North Wales, we offer a fantastic destination for those enjoying dog-friendly holidays in North Wales or simply looking for things to do with dogs near Bala.
You and your four-legged friend are welcome to explore much of our site, including Manon's Riverside Café, which is dog-friendly.
We have various areas perfect for a dog walk near Bala and enjoying the stunning natural surroundings of the Celtic Rainforest. Naturally, to ensure a pleasant experience for all our visitors, we kindly ask that you exercise common courtesy, which includes the all-important task of picking up after your dog.
We appreciate you might be planning your activities, and while we'd love to involve your pooches in everything, please note that we are unable to offer dog rafting trips or provide dog sitting facilities while you're out on the water enjoying the white-water action.
For the safety and well-being of local livestock, there are signposted areas around our Top Site that are considered active farmland. In these specific locations, we kindly request that dogs are kept on leads. Please keep an eye out for the signs indicating these areas.
